The Wine Almanac is a personal, independent editorial project run by an individual editor established in Spain. You can reach the editor at contact@thewinealmanac.com.

Using this website

You are welcome to read, share links to and quote from The Wine Almanac for personal, non-commercial purposes. By using the site you accept these terms. This website is about wine and is intended for adults of legal drinking age. Please drink responsibly.

What our content is

The Wine Almanac is an editorial publication. Wine Stories, Regions, Wine Moments and the Journal are written to inform and to interest, not as professional, medical or legal advice. We work from producers' own documentation and other published sources, and when something is not known we try to say so. If you find an error, please tell us at contact@thewinealmanac.com and we will look at it.

Prices, availability and merchants

We do not sell wine. We do not take payments, and we do not ship or deliver orders. Any purchase is made on the merchant's own website and is between you and that merchant. Prices, availability, delivery and the terms of sale are set by the merchant you buy from, and may change without notice.

Links to other websites

We link to merchants, producers and other sources. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Some links to merchants are affiliate links, through the affiliate network Awin: if you buy through one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Our content

The text, design and branding of The Wine Almanac belong to its editor. Some photographs are used under licence from their authors and are credited where they appear; their licences continue to apply. Please do not reproduce our content for commercial purposes without permission.

Please do not use the site in a way that damages it, interferes with other people's use of it, or attempts to gain access to systems that are not public.

Responsibility

We take care over what we publish, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current.
